The drawing goes out with an engineer's signature on it.
I'm Alan. I spent six years running engineering for a European lighting brand's China operation, to the same optical and finish standards. What we don't carry is their overhead — Yakeen puts that engineering directly in front of the specifier: one team, from your drawing to the loading dock, with nothing lost in between.
What we actually control
A specification fails in the gaps — the drawing nobody checked, the driver nobody tested, the certificate nobody filed. We hold those three things on every order.
Yakeen is an engineering and quality team of lighting engineers, designers and QC specialists. We engineer every fixture to your specification and run production through audited specialist facilities, one per product category. Small team, senior people, no handoffs.
Here is what stays in our hands:
Specification, read by engineers
Your BOQ, drawings and photometric targets are the brief — not a price list. Beam angle, CRI, colour consistency and dimming protocol are resolved before anything is quoted.
Five gates, not one sticker
Incoming material, in-process, pre-shipment, burn-in and packaging. Every gate is documented, and the photo record comes to you before the container is sealed.
Certification owned in-house
SASO, SABER, G-Mark, MOIAT, CE and RoHS. We manage the test reports, the labels and the customs paperwork, so a shipment doesn't stall at the port.
One name on the file
You deal with the engineer who drew your fixture. Nobody has to re-explain the project to a new account manager halfway through the build.
Where Yakeen sits
Generalist LED factories
- Catalogue first, engineering second
- Prices quoted before the spec is read
- Quality checked at the end of the line
- Certification left to the buyer
- Photometry on request, weeks later
- MOQ set by the machine, not the project
- Everything is possible — until it ships
Specialist lighting engineering
- Architectural, specification-grade only
- Engineers who read drawings and photometry
- Five inspection gates, documented in photos
- SASO, SABER, G-Mark and MOIAT managed here
- DIALux, IES, CAD and submittal support
- MOQ set by the project
- We tell you what we can't do
European premium brands
- Exceptional engineering and finish
- Strong specification support
- 12–20 week lead times
- 3–5× the landed cost
- Limited customisation for site conditions
- Slow sample iterations
- Support hours on European time
Our sweet spot: European-grade specification support, at Chinese production economics, with GCC lead times.
Where we work: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain — other markets by referral.
Five gates, every order
Nothing ships on trust. Each gate is documented, and the record reaches you before the container is sealed.
Incoming Material Check
LED chips, drivers, housings and optics are verified against the specification before production starts: brand, model, colour temperature, CRI and material grade.
In-Process Monitoring
Our QC team is on the line at the three stages that matter — after soldering, before sealing, and at first-article approval. Issues get caught at the bench, not at the port.
Pre-Shipment Testing
100% electrical test on every unit, photometric spot checks against the IES file, colour consistency across the batch, and visual inspection under controlled light.
Burn-In & Thermal Test
Every fixture runs a minimum four-hour burn-in. We watch driver stability, thermal rise at the heatsink, and any early-life failure before a unit is packed.
Packaging & Final Review
Labelling, accessories, drop-rated packaging and a photo record of every batch. If it isn't something we'd accept on site, it doesn't leave.
On larger projects: the photo record from each gate arrives as it happens — not as a summary after the fact.
Our engineering & production network
Production runs at five specialist facilities, one per product category. Each has been audited, and every run is inspected by our own QC team on site.
Downlight Specialist
Focused exclusively on recessed downlights and ceiling fixtures. Advanced CNC, deep-drawing and assembly lines with automated testing.
Track & Spotlight Facility
Specialist in track lighting systems and precision spotlights. Clean-room optics assembly, COB reflector development and 48V magnetic track expertise.
Linear Systems Engineering
Dedicated to LED linear lighting, profile extrusion and custom length fabrication. In-house anodizing, powder coating and end-machining.
Exterior & Facade Lighting
IP66+ rated outdoor and facade lighting. Specialised in DMX, RGBW and extreme temperature testing (−30°C to +60°C).
Custom & Decorative Workshop
Artisan workshop for custom chandeliers, decorative fixtures and sculptural pieces. Hand-blown glass, metalwork and custom finishes.
How it's structured: each facility does one category, so nobody is working outside their expertise. Drawings, inspection and certification are Yakeen's — the facilities build to our drawings and pass our gates.
Who you'll actually work with.
You work with the people who do the work. The engineer who drew your fixture is the one answering questions about it.
