Outdoor & Landscape
The other half of the project.

Facade, ground and water lighting engineered for the Gulf — where 50°C surface temperatures, sand abrasion and salt air decide whether a fixture survives year three. IP-rated, thermally de-rated, and finished for coastal corrosion class.

Product Family

Six exterior families, one weather spec.

Every family below shares the same housing discipline: die-cast aluminium bodies, chromate conversion plus 80µm powder coat, and cable glands rated for the same ingress class as the fixture. Pick the mounting condition — facade, ground, or water.

◉

In-Ground Uplight

Walk-over rated uplight for tree canopies, colonnades and signage. 316 stainless trim, ±15° internal tilt, and a drain-and-breather system that lets the body breathe without letting water in.

  • IP67, 5kN walk-over
  • 316 stainless steel trim
  • 6–36W, ±15° tilt
  • Recessed or surface canister
▮

Landscape Bollard

Path and precinct marker in 600, 900 and 1200mm heights. Single or dual emission, with an internal louvre that keeps the source out of the pedestrian's eye line.

  • IP65, IK10
  • 600 / 900 / 1200mm
  • 8–24W, 360° or dual-sided
  • Bollard-base or root-mount
✦

Garden Spike Spot

Stake-mounted accent for planting beds and low shrubbery. ±90° pan and 0–45° tilt so the aiming is set once, on site, and then locked with a grub screw.

  • IP65, ground spike
  • 6–24W, 15°/25°/40°
  • ±90° pan, 0–45° tilt
  • 24V SELV or 230V
▬

Wall Washer Linear

Continuous-run grazing for long elevations and porte-cochères. Supplied in project lengths with joiner kits, so a 12m elevation reads as one unbroken line of light.

  • IP66, 12–60W/m
  • Project lengths, joiner kits
  • Asymmetric 10×60° optic
  • DALI-2 D4i dimming
≈

Pool & Water Feature

Submersible luminaire for pools, fountains and reflective channels. SELV 12V/24V only, IP68, with a nickel-bronze or 316 stainless bezel that resists chlorine and salt.

  • IP68, 12V/24V SELV
  • Nickel-bronze or 316 SS bezel
  • 9–36W, RGBW option
  • Concrete or liner niche mount

How to choose

Three questions before you pick a family.

Exterior selection is decided by mounting condition first and photometry second. Get the first answer wrong and no optic will save the detail.

01

Where does the fixture sit?

On the facade → floodlight or linear wall washer. In paving → in-ground uplight (needs drainage detail). In soil → spike or bollard. In water → IP68 SELV only. The mounting condition sets the IP class before anything else.

02

How far is the surface it lights?

A 12m facade from a 1m setback needs a wide asymmetric optic at high output. A 3m tree from the ground needs 25–40°. Distance and setback decide the beam angle — not the fixture datasheet in isolation.

03

What is the corrosion exposure?

Inland Riyadh is one class; a Jeddah or Dubai waterfront plot is another. Within 1km of the coast, specify 316 stainless fasteners and C5-M/CX finish as a minimum. Salt fog eats a standard powder coat in two seasons.

Send us the landscape plan and elevation and we'll lay out the fixture schedule.

Engineering Deep Dive

Why an IP66 sticker is not a Gulf specification.

Most exterior failures are not water ingress on day one. They are thermal de-rating in year one, gasket compression in year two, and corrosion at the fastener in year three. Here is what we actually control.

01

Driver de-rating at Ta 55°C

A driver rated 100% at 25°C will typically deliver 60–70% at 55°C — and its electrolytic capacitors lose life at roughly every 10°C. We publish the de-rated output, place the driver in a thermally separated compartment, and specify 105°C-rated capacitors. Fixtures that quote only 25°C data are being honest about a condition that does not exist here.

02

IP66 is a jet test, IP67 an immersion test

IP66 proves resistance to powerful water jets; IP67 proves 30 minutes at 1m depth; IP68 is continuous submersion by agreement. A sand-laden Gulf project needs the gasket compression set, a breather membrane to stop pressure pumping, and a cable gland rated to the same class — the gland is where most "IP66" fixtures actually leak.

03

Corrosion is a finish system, not a paint colour

Chromate conversion coating, then 80µm minimum powder coat, then 316 stainless fasteners and a drainage path that never traps water against the casting. On waterfront plots we go further with a C5-M/CX system. Any fixture that hides a mild-steel screw inside an aluminium body will show rust within two seasons.

The result: published lumen output at 55°C ambient, a sealed optical chamber independent of the driver chamber, and a finish schedule that states the corrosion class in writing. If you want the IP and salt-fog test reports, they are in the spec package below.

Quality Assurance

Sealed, soaked and stressed. Every batch.

Exterior fixtures are checked for the conditions that actually fail in service — not just the ones that are easy to measure on a bench.

IP Ingress Verification

Jet and immersion testing on production samples, including cable gland and gasket compression checks.

Thermal Soak at 55°C

Burn-in inside a temperature-controlled chamber, with flux and colour shift recorded at rated ambient.

Electrical Safety

Hi-pot, grounding and power factor verification on 100% of production, with SELV isolation checked on pool units.

Finish & Fastener Audit

Coating thickness measurement and fastener grade check — stainless specified and verified before packing.
