Specification-grade lighting.
Made in China.
European-quality engineering, direct from our manufacturing partners in China. Same tier-1 components, same optical performance, 30-50% lower cost. Fully certified for GCC markets.
Why specifiers source architectural lighting from China.
China has become the world's lighting manufacturing hub for a reason. The supply chain is mature, the engineering talent pool is deep, and the cost structure is fundamentally different from Europe. For specification-grade architectural lighting, the gap between Chinese and European manufacturing has narrowed to the point where, for most projects, the difference is in the branding, not the product.
Mature Supply Chain
China's lighting industry cluster means every component — LEDs, drivers, optics, housings, heat sinks — is available within a few hours' drive. This translates to faster prototyping, shorter lead times, and better quality control because nothing is lost in translation across continents.
Engineering Depth
Many of the engineers working in China's top lighting factories trained at European companies or have decades of experience working with international brands. The technical capability is there — what's different is the cost of that engineering hour.
Cost Structure
Lower labor costs, lower overhead, and no premium-brand markup mean you get the same specification-grade product at a significantly lower price. On large projects — hotels, malls, office towers — this can represent hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings.
Speed & Flexibility
Chinese manufacturers move faster. A custom prototype that takes 8-12 weeks in Europe takes 2-4 weeks in China. Production runs that take 10-14 weeks from European brands take 4-7 weeks from a good Chinese factory. For fast-track projects, speed matters.
Inside our manufacturing capabilities.
We work with a carefully selected network of specialized manufacturing partners across China. Each facility focuses on one product category — downlights, track lighting, linear systems, outdoor fixtures — because specialists make better products than generalists.
Optical Engineering
Our partners operate dark-room photometric testing facilities with integrating spheres and goniophotometers. Every product line is IES verified. Beam angles from 10° spot to 60° flood, plus wall wash and asymmetric distributions. CRI 90+ standard, 95+ premium, 98 museum-grade available.
Thermal Management
Thermal design is the #1 factor in LED longevity. Our fixtures use aircraft-grade 6063 aluminum housings with optimized fin geometry. Every design is thermal-simulated and then verified in environmental chambers at temperatures up to +55°C — critical for GCC outdoor and facade applications.
CNC Machining
5-axis CNC machining centers produce housing components with tolerances down to 0.05mm. Anodizing and powder coating lines handle standard RAL colors and custom finishes. The same equipment and processes used by premium European brands — just in a different location.
LED Sourcing
We source from the exact same tier-1 LED suppliers as European brands: Cree, Lumileds, and Nichia. 3-step SDCM binning is standard; 2-step premium binning available for high-end projects. LM-80 tested, TM-21 calculated, L70 rated at 50,000+ hours.
Driver Integration
Mean Well drivers are standard — the world's #1 LED driver brand, used by virtually every specification-grade lighting manufacturer. Tridonic and Philips Xitanium available for projects that specify them. Full DALI-2, 0-10V, DMX512, and TRIAC dimming support.
Production Capacity
Our partner facilities collectively produce tens of thousands of fixtures per month. We've handled single-project orders of 10,000+ units for hotels, malls, and mixed-use developments across the GCC. Production scales up without sacrificing quality or lead time.
Our 5-stage quality control system.
Quality isn't inspected at the end — it's built in at every stage. We oversee every order with a structured 5-stage QC process, with photos and reports at each checkpoint. You know exactly what you're getting, before it ships.
Incoming Material Inspection
Every batch of LEDs, drivers, and raw materials is tested on arrival. We verify LED binning, driver specifications, and aluminum alloy composition. No surprises — we reject materials that don't meet spec before they enter production.
In-Process Monitoring
Our QC team checks at key production stages — after machining, after surface treatment, after PCB assembly. We verify dimensions, finish quality, solder joints, and component placement. Catching issues early saves time and cost.
Pre-Assembly Testing
Before final assembly, sub-assemblies are electrically tested. We verify LED current, thermal coupling, driver output, and dimming function. Every fixture is powered up and checked before it goes into final housing.
Final Burn-In & Inspection
Every completed fixture goes through a minimum 4-hour burn-in test. We check photometric output, color consistency, thermal performance, and housing integrity. Visual inspection for finish quality, fit, and cosmetic defects.
Packaging & Shipping Review
Final check of packaging, labeling, and documentation. We verify that every carton is properly labeled, all accessories are included, and certification documents are in order. For GCC shipments, we ensure customs paperwork is complete and correct.
Built to your spec, not the other way around.
Standard catalog products get you 80% of the way there. The remaining 20% is what makes a project feel designed rather than specified. We specialize in custom modifications — from simple finish changes to fully bespoke fixtures.
Custom Finishes
Standard white, black, and silver are always available. But we can match any RAL color, provide custom textures (hammered, brushed, polished), or apply special coatings (anti-microbial, marine-grade, UV-stable for desert environments). Minimum quantities are reasonable, not prohibitive.
Modified Dimensions
Need a downlight that fits a specific ceiling grid? A linear run with non-standard segment lengths? A track system at a custom height? We modify fixture dimensions to match your architectural details. No forcing a standard product into a custom space.
Special Optics
Standard beam angles cover most applications, but sometimes you need something specific — a 12° beam for a particular ceiling height, a wall wash optic with a specific spread, or an asymmetric distribution for a facade detail. We design custom optics for project-specific requirements.
Bespoke Fixtures
Have a custom fixture concept? We take it from sketch or CAD file through optical simulation, thermal analysis, mechanical design, prototype, and production. Full engineering oversight at every stage. Our record from concept to first article: 18 days.
Fully certified for every GCC market.
Certification isn't an afterthought — it's baked into our product development process. All our standard product lines hold the certifications required for Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. We handle the paperwork so you don't have to.
SASO 2.0 / SABER
Full SASO 2.0 energy efficiency registration via the SABER platform. Product Conformity Certificates (PCoC) for all standard lines, plus Shipment Conformity Certificates (SCoC) for every Saudi-bound order. No customs delays at Jeddah, Dammam, or Riyadh dry port.
ESMA / ECAS
ESMA-approved products with ECAS registration for UAE projects. Full compliance with Dubai Municipality and Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities requirements. Documentation ready for Jebel Ali and Port of Khalifa customs clearance.
G-Mark
G-Mark certification provides access to all six GCC member states under a single conformity mark. Recognized in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. One certificate, six markets.
CE, CB & RoHS
CE marking and CB certification for international projects. RoHS compliance for hazardous substance restrictions. IEC 60598 test reports from accredited third-party laboratories. The same standards European brands use — we just add the GCC certifications on top.
How we stack up against European brands.
Let's be direct. European premium brands like ERCO, iGuzzini, and Bega make excellent products. Their engineering is world-class and their brand reputations are well earned. But for the majority of commercial architectural projects, a good Chinese manufacturer matches them on every technical metric that matters — at a fraction of the cost.
