Bespoke lighting,
engineered in China.
From one-off feature fixtures to full-project custom lines. Our Chinese manufacturing partners deliver bespoke architectural lighting with European-level engineering — faster and at lower cost than Western custom houses.
What is custom architectural lighting?
Custom lighting isn't just changing a color. It's engineering fixtures that don't exist in any catalog — because your project demands something specific that standard products can't deliver. That could be a geometric form, a particular light output, a specific mounting detail, or a finish that matches the architecture exactly.
Form-Factor Customization
Fixtures designed to fit specific architectural conditions — curved linear runs that follow a facade radius, custom-sized downlights for an existing ceiling grid, oversized pendant fixtures for a grand atrium, or surface-mounted profiles that match a panel module.
Optical Customization
Project-specific optical designs — asymmetric distributions for facade washing, tight beam control for museum display, custom color temperatures, or special beam angles matched to ceiling heights and application requirements.
Finish & Material Customization
Custom RAL colors, brushed or polished metal finishes, wood veneer, stone inlays, or special coatings for aggressive environments. We match your interior materials rather than asking you to compromise with a standard finish.
Integration Customization
Custom mounting systems, recessed details, trimless installations, integration with HVAC and sprinkler systems, or fixtures designed to work with specific ceiling types — gypsum, wood, metal panel, stone, or glass.
From concept to delivery in six clear steps.
We've refined our custom workflow over years of project work. Every step is transparent, with clear deliverables and approval gates. No surprises, no black-box engineering — you know exactly where your project stands at every stage.
Brief & Feasibility
Send us your sketches, CAD files, reference images, or just a description of what you need. We review the engineering feasibility, identify potential challenges, and provide a budget estimate and timeline within 48 hours.
Engineering Design
Our team develops full 3D CAD models, optical simulations, thermal analysis, and mechanical drawings. We verify performance in simulation before anything is built. You receive design files for review and approval before prototyping begins.
Prototype Development
First article prototype built to your exact specification. Typical lead time: 2-4 weeks depending on complexity. We ship the sample to your office for review — finish, dimensions, light output, everything verified in person.
Review & Revision
Test the prototype, provide feedback, request changes. We typically include one round of revisions in the prototype cost. Iterate until the fixture is exactly right — then we lock the design and move to production.
Production & QC
Full production run with our 5-stage quality control process. Incoming material check, in-process monitoring, pre-assembly testing, final burn-in, and packaging review. You receive photos and inspection reports at each stage.
Delivery & Support
Shipping direct to your project site, with full certification documentation for customs clearance in the GCC. Installation guidance, commissioning support, and a 5-year warranty on every custom fixture we produce.
What our custom factory can do.
Our manufacturing partners are specialists, not generalists. Each facility focuses on a specific type of custom work — CNC machined aluminum fixtures, hand-formed metalwork, glass blowing, crystal assembly. We match your project to the right facility for the job.
CNC Machining
5-axis and 3-axis CNC machining centers produce complex aluminum and steel components with tolerances down to 0.02mm. Ideal for custom downlights, spotlights, and architectural fixtures where precision is critical. Full CAD/CAM integration from your 3D models to production toolpaths.
Sheet Metal Forming
Laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, polishing, and grinding of stainless steel, brass, copper, and aluminum. Custom pendant bodies, linear fixture housings, and decorative metalwork. Hand-finished by experienced metalworkers for high-end architectural details.
Crystal & Glass Work
Hand-blown glass, crystal cutting and assembly, acrylic and polycarbonate fabrication. For custom chandeliers, feature pendants, and decorative fixtures. We work with traditional crystal artisans and modern glass blowers across southern China.
Optical Design
In-house optical design using industry-standard simulation software. Custom reflector design, lens development, and light guide engineering. Prototyping of custom optics using 3D printing and rapid tooling before committing to production tooling.
Surface Finishing
Anodizing, powder coating, wet painting, electroplating, brushing, polishing, PVD coating, patina, and custom texturing. Standard RAL colors always available; custom color matching from your sample. Marine-grade and UV-stable coatings for outdoor applications.
Electronics Assembly
SMT assembly lines for custom LED boards and driver circuits. Custom dim-to-warm, RGBW, and Tunable White solutions. Integration with DALI-2, DMX512, KNX, and 0-10V control systems. Custom wiring harnesses and connector configurations.
Materials that last, finishes that hold.
A custom fixture is only as good as the materials it's made from. We source the same high-quality materials used by European premium brands — the same aluminum alloys, the same optical-grade acrylics, the same LED and driver components. The difference is where it's assembled, not what it's assembled from.
Aluminum Alloys
Aircraft-grade 6063 aluminum for thermal-critical housings and heat sinks. 6061 for structural components. 5052 for sheet metal enclosures. All alloys are certified with material test reports. Same grades used by ERCO, iGuzzini, and other premium European brands.
Stainless Steel & Brass
304 stainless for interior decorative fixtures. 316 marine-grade stainless for outdoor and coastal applications. Solid brass for high-end decorative and heritage projects. Polished, brushed, satin, or PVD-coated finishes in gold, bronze, copper, and black.
Optical Materials
Optical-grade PMMA (acrylic) for reflectors and lenses. Polycarbonate for impact-resistant applications. Borosilicate glass for high-temperature and premium glass diffusers. UV-stabilized formulations for outdoor use in Gulf climates.
LED Components
Same tier-1 LED brands used by European manufacturers. Cree CXB and COB families, Lumileds LUXEON lines, Nichia for high-CRI museum applications. 3-step SDCM binning standard, 2-step premium available. LM-80 tested, TM-21 calculated.

Why a Chinese factory for custom lighting?
European custom houses are expensive and slow. Chinese factories can match the quality at a significantly lower cost and much faster pace. The key is working with the right partner — one that understands specification-grade requirements and has the engineering capability to deliver.
Three reasons to source custom lighting from China
1. Speed. A custom fixture that takes 12-16 weeks from a European custom house takes 4-8 weeks from our Chinese manufacturing partners. The supply chain is concentrated — machining, finishing, electronics assembly, and testing all happen within a few hours' drive. No shipping parts across borders, no weeks of delay waiting for components.
2. Cost. Custom lighting from Western sources typically costs 2-3x more than comparable work from a good Chinese factory. Not because the quality is lower — it isn't — but because labor costs, overhead, and profit margins are fundamentally different. On a large custom project, the savings can be substantial.
3. Flexibility. Chinese factories are accustomed to custom work. They're set up for rapid changeovers, small production runs, and iterative prototyping. European factories, especially the larger brands, are optimized for mass production of standard products — custom work is a side business that commands a premium.
Of course, not every Chinese factory can deliver specification-grade custom work. That's where we come in. We vet, select, and oversee production at facilities that meet our quality standards. You get the advantages of Chinese manufacturing with the assurance of Western-engineered quality control.
"Same engineering, different price tag. Custom doesn't have to be expensive."
